Lieutenant Colonel Loges is the Commander of Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 425 and serves as the Professor of Aerospace Studies at Mississippi State University.  As commander, she leads a seven-member active duty and civilian team responsible for recruiting, training, motivating, educating, and evaluating Mississippi State University’s Air Force officer candidates.  Additionally, she supports cross-town universities which include Mississippi University for Women and East Mississippi Community College.  She is the senior Air Force officer on campus with dual responsibilities as detachment commander and Chairman of the Department of Aerospace Studies.  Lt Col Loges is responsible for determining who is accepted, trained, educated, and ultimately commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force. In her previous assignment, she was the Course Director for Senior Leadership Studies at the eSchool of Graduate PME, where she managed leadership content and curriculum for the online Senior Developmental Education program.

Lt Col Loges enlisted in the United States Air Force in September 1994 as an Airborne Air Surveillance Technician.  She earned her commission in 1999 through AFROTC at The University of Texas at Austin.  Throughout her career she has served in a broad range of assignments including Aviation, Space Operations, Financial Management, and Education.  She has deployed in support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, PROVIDE COMFORT, and ENDURING FREEDOM.
